💙📚 Catholic Schools Week at IC 📚💙
Catholic Schools Week is a time to celebrate faith, knowledge, service, and community—and we would love for you to join us! Catholic Schools week begins Saturday, Jan. 24 for the IC Educational Development Board Dinner and ends Saturday, Jan. 31 with Faith, Family, & Frosting sponsored by IC PTO.
The IC PTO has several fun, and meaningful family events planned throughout the week, and all families are invited to take part. These activities are a wonderful way to connect with one another, support our school, and celebrate the many blessings of our IC family.
We are grateful for our parents, students, staff, and community who make IC such a special place. Come celebrate with us, share in the joy, and be part of the fun during Catholic Schools Week! ✝️💛
📅 Watch for event details and times—hope to see you there!

Hello IC Families!
It was a mild day back to school as students got adjusted back to routine.
I have a couple things to tell you about and remind you about.
*You will have a letter regarding Virtual Learning Days attached to this letter. Your child will bring home their Virtual Learning Packet with them today. Students that have two households will bring two packets, one for each home. Please keep these for if or when we call a Virtual Learning Day. Please review the letter to ensure the expectations of those days and how your child will be counted as present for a Virtual Learning Day.
*We welcome Mr. Carter Henry as an authorized PE substitute. Mrs. Streich has shortened her contract and will remain our Interventionalist. PE will now be Thursday, Friday, and alternating Wednesday. Mr. Henry is also a long term PE sub for St. Joe's in New Hampton.
*Permission slips are due back by Wednesday morning to go to the movie. I have also attached it to this email.
*ALL students will need a sack lunch on Wednesay.
*If you have not approved your spring tuition payment with Odyssey please do so as soon as possilbe. The link is in the email. https://iowa-households.withodyssey.com/login/
*STO (Tuition Assistance) opened Jan. 1 for the 2026-2027 school year. If you are a family that is at or below the 400% federal poverty rate it is important you apply for both ESA and STO. The link for STO is in the email. The deadline to apply is April 15, 2026. The ESA application will be available later this spring. https://online.factsmgt.com/SignIn.aspx
*Our school struggles to find substitue teachers. If you have an AA degree or above and are interested in taking an authorized substitute teacher class to sub in our school, please reach out to the school office.
Thank you for choosing IC School and sharing your children with us. Have a great night!
Blessings,
Mrs. L. Field
Hello IC families!
We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas break and you enjoyed the JOY of the season.
We welcome back our students tomorrow. Supervision begins at 7:40 a.m. and the school day begins at 7:55 a.m. Please remember if you are picking up or dropping off your child you should be in the circle drive. Parents are asked not to use N. Grand for drop off and pick up as this is for the buses.
A reminder that students need snowpants and boots to for recess. We go outside unless the feel-like temperature is zero or below.
Our staff has been working on packets in the event that we have a virtual learning day due to imclement weather. I will send a letter out Monday explaining a virtual learning day and teachers will be sending these packets home tomorrow with your children.
We will be going to the movie, David, this Wednesday after mass, compliments of John and Amy Weishaar. If you did not receive your permission form before Christmas your child will bring it home for you to sign tomorrow. Students have to have a signed persmission slip to be able to attend any event off school grounds.
Our FAST testing will change from Jan. 12th - 23rd to Feb. 2nd -13th. Reminders will go out before we start our testing to ensure students are prepared for their tests. These were done last fall, will be done now in January, and then again in the spring.
We look forward to seeing your children tomorrow. Thank you for choosing IC School and have a great night!
Blessings,
Mrs. L. Field

1:30 p.m. (Doors open at 1:00 p.m. )
6:30 p.m. (Doors open at 6:00 p.m. )

We are excited to share something new at Immaculate Conception School! A parish member has donated funds to provide a special lunch for students who demonstrate our core values of Faith, Scholarship, Kindness, and Service.
Twice a month, we will draw a student’s name from our Shout Outs—recognitions given by staff who see students living out our core values throughout the week. These shout outs are shared during our Wednesday morning prayer, and now they come with an special treat!
🎉 The selected student will enjoy a special lunch and may choose a friend to join them. It’s a joyful way to celebrate the everyday actions that make our school community strong. Our first student that earned this special treat was Piper Hall. Piper consistenly shows the core values of Faith, Scholarship, Kindness, and Service. Her Shout Out drawn was for demonstrating the core value of Kindness.
Thank you to our generous parish member, and congratulations in advance to our future core value leaders! 💙🤍

Due to the weather, we will be dismissing at 12:55 p.m. today, Tuesday, December 9, 2025. There is no afternoon preschool.
Thank you,
Blessings,
Mrs. L. Field
