**Corpus Christi Procession – Join Us in Celebrating the Real Presence of Jesus**
We invite you and your family to join us as we bring the Real Presence of Jesus into our community through a **Corpus Christi Eucharistic Procession** around Charles City. This beautiful tradition will take place on **Saturday, June 22**, immediately following the **10:30 AM Mass**.
The Eucharistic procession will journey approximately **one mile**, with **multiple stops for prayer** and reflection along the way.
📣 **All IC students and families** are encouraged to participate.
👼 **First Communicants** are invited to wear their First Communion dresses, suits, or dress clothes.
⛪ **Altar servers**, please join **Father Tom**, **Deacon Mike**, and the **Knights of Columbus** in leading the procession. Albs should be worn.
Following the procession, **lunch will be served at the Columbus Club** – all are welcome!

**March/April Music Madness!**
In music class, we held our own version of March Madness—with a musical twist! We started with 16 “Sweet Songs” in a bracket-style competition and voted our way to one final champion: **"Roar" by Katy Perry**, nominated by our very own **Mrs. Schwartzkopf**!
"Roar" narrowly edged out **"Dream Small"** (a favorite of Mrs. L. Field’s) by just **FOUR votes**—it was a close one!
Students from **kindergarten through 6th grade** participated as voters, and all the songs on the left side of the bracket were nominated by staff in the building.
I'm thinking… maybe next year we open up the nominations to **families** too! What do you think?
