’Twas the day after the Christmas concert, and through hallways so bright, Mrs. Field took a stroll in the soft morning light. From classrooms to corners, in each space she would see Bright scholars hard at work— as focused as could be. Second grade led the way with their calm, quiet cheer, But as she kept walking, more shining stars appeared! Kindergarten, 1st grade, and Preschool, too— All learning, all smiling, their excitement renewed. The concert had ended, yet the joy still aglow— What a wonderful sight for Mrs. Field to behold! ✨🎄📚 #ICscholar

’Twas the day after the Christmas concert, and all through 2nd grade, Not a creature was stirring— not even a pencil being played. The room was so quiet as Mrs. Field stepped in slow, Even Mrs. Platts jumped a little when she heard her cheerful “Hello!” Our scholars worked hard, and it truly did show— Way to go, 2nd graders! Your sparkle and effort continue to glow! 🎄✨

🔍✨ Magnets in Motion! ✨🔍 Our third graders put their curiosity to work today during a hands-on science experiment all about magnets! Students tested what objects magnets attract, explored magnetic force, and made predictions before trying out their ideas. There was lots of excitement, teamwork, and plenty of “WOW!” moments as they discovered how magnets push, pull, and interact with different materials. We love seeing our students learn through exploration and wonder! 🧲💡

Santa Visit
Hello IC Families,

We wanted to share a few updates from the school office. Our tentative plan is to open the new playground on Monday, December 1, with final confirmation coming on Sunday. We are thrilled to provide our students with this beautiful new equipment, and we cannot wait to see them enjoy it.

As we prepare for this exciting addition, we hope that—with guidance at school, opportunities to use the new playground, and supportive conversations at home—our students will continue to grow in showing respect to teachers, staff, peers, and substitute teachers. We have experienced a challenging couple of weeks with following directions, and we appreciate your partnership in reinforcing positive behavior.

During this season of gratitude, we are especially thankful for our school and parish families and the many ways you support IC School. May your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving, and may God continue to bless us all.

Blessings,
Mrs. L. Field

Hello 2nd Grade Families,
If your child is preparing for First Communion, the parish is inviting your family to sign up to light the Advent candle at a weekend Mass during the Advent season. This is a meaningful way for your child to participate and a beautiful way for your family to celebrate as we wait in hope and wonder for the birth of Jesus.https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1I0OyYxnKHP2JJhyNiEkak-V8jMu_QMus-YZwAsux1Vc/edit?usp=sharing

🇺🇸 Honoring Our Veterans 🇺🇸 Today we were blessed to welcome several veterans who spent time reading in our classrooms and visiting with our students. Some even joined us virtually to share their stories and love of country! Students enjoyed learning from our special guests and sharing Hero Pops together in appreciation of their service. 💙❤️🤍 Thank you to all who have served — we are so grateful for your courage, sacrifice, and example!

Today—and every day—we take a moment to honor and thank the brave men and women who have served our country. Your courage, sacrifice, and commitment to protecting our freedoms mean more than words can express.

We also extend our gratitude to the families of our veterans. Your strength, support, and love make that service possible. You, too, serve in ways that often go unseen.

To all who have worn the uniform, and to those who stand behind them: thank you for your service, your sacrifices, and your dedication.

We are grateful. ❤️🤍💙

📖✨ In Religion class today, our students learned a powerful lesson: to love God first above all else, and to love our neighbors — even when it’s hard. We talked about how disagreements and hurt feelings don’t stop us from loving others — instead, they remind us to love them even more. 💙 What a beautiful reminder of the kind of love Jesus calls us to live every day! 🙏❤️ #ICfaith

Hello IC famlies,

Information from the school office is coming with this message.

A reminder that there is NO SCHOOL tomorrow, Monday, Nov. 3 for teachers in-service.

The annual SCRIP contest has begun! You can purchase scrip by sending a scrip form and payment with your child, at the school office or after mass on the weekend.

A Flamaziing Week of Kindness is planned for Nov. 10-14. Information is attached to this message.
